This week’s challenge #177 is from the diva CZT’s guest blogger is to use the tangle pattern “Truffle”. I call my tile “Pearly Shells”.  I started with the TanglePattern String #110.  The tangle patterns I used were Truffle, Caviar, Yincut and official patterns Shattuck, Sez, Minchin and Keeko.  Enjoy!

This week’s It’s a String Thing Challenge #48 is to use TanglePatterns String 046 with tangles Purk, Printemps, Pippin and/or Prestwood.  This was a quick tangle for me as I couldn’t sit still for long since it’s really hot, sunny and humid here in Vancouver.  My tile is entitled “Summer Squash”.  Enjoy!

This week’s I am the Diva CZT challenge #175 is to use the tangle “Crux” by Henrike Bratz.  This was the first time for me to use this tangle.  I like it.  I shall definitely use this tangle pattern again.  My piece for this week is entitled “Ceramics” because it reminds me of floor tiles.  It’s hot, sunny and humid in Vancouver these days so I am very grateful that we have cool to the touch floor tiles in our condo.  I started with the TanglePattern String 099.  The tangles used are:  Crux, Onomato, Hibred, and Florz. Enjoy!

  • Unyun  by Carole Ohl, CZT
  • Lightning Bolt by Suzanne McNeill, CZT
  • Yincut  an official Zentangle® pattern

This week’s I am the Diva CZT’s Challenge is #174:  Superimposing Strings.  The challenge is to simply use two strings superimposed on each other.  This is my second tile for this challenge.  I decided to use a less flowing style than my previous “Garland” Asian feather theme.  I used TanglePatterns Strings #063 and 091. The tangles I used Nipa, Striping, Coil, Strircles, Yincut, Unyun, and Neuron.  Enjoy!
