This week’s challenge is a Duotangle challenge where we were asked to use tangles “Diva Dance” and “Crescent Moon”.  My piece is called “Perfs’ Dance”.  I’m giggling at this title as I’m typing it.  My ethnicity is Filipino (although born and raised in Vancouver, BC) and Filipinos love play-on-words.  It just hit me that if I try to mimic my parents’ accent, “Perfs’ Dance” sounds like them saying “First Dance”.  Corny… so pedestrian… I know… but I am still entertained!  Oh!  This reminds me of another play-on-words — Today, my super cute god-daughter and her mom, my step-sister, flew in from Regina, Saskatchewan, the same province as the zentangling Diva.  They are visiting us for a few days.  My god-daughter is 2 1/2 years old. Her name is “Pauline Angel”.  My dad and her grand-uncle both protested her name at first because whenever they say her name, it sounds like “Falling Angel”!!!  =D
